Egg sac ID please

So I was finaly able to get a good pic because a egg sac appeared on a rock I am selling I just noticed it a few days ago. I Have had these sacs since I got the 75g tank and the fish from the person I bought from. The fish that were in the tank before I got it when their were egg sacs before are. I think they are from the chromis fish but not sure. Can not find any pictures online of the egg sacks.

2 chromis
1 foxface lo
1 clownfish
1 yellow and pink dottyback

I have in the tank all of the above plus
1 ywg
1 pink square anthias female
1 4 stripe damsel
3 clownfish
1 lawnmower blenny
1 6 line wrasse
1 green spot mandarin

sorry don’t see it where is it

you sure it’s an egg sac and not just a sponge or a flatworm ?

Not sure which thing were looking at but if it’s the black/dark mass twards the bottom that looks like that black sponge I’ve seen before.

No black sponges in my tank but I do have a huge orage sponge growing on a rock thats getting bigger.

It is a sac of some sort that is attached to my rocks by thread looking stuff. It is fairly strong to how it attaches.

If you go onto my photobucket I have a few pictures of it. http://s1214.photobucket.com/albums/cc488/JustSumGuy29/

Is it a cluster of egg sacs or one large one. Can’t really tell in the pic.

It looks like 1 egg sac with many eggs.

i would say sponge

i have them too I think a hydro something or sponge but ill check mine to see

they just appear this 1 is a smaller one half a dime size. I have seen some that had more strands connecting them to the rock. They are only in my main tank never in any other tank.

You might be right. I searched white sponge look like egg sac and came up with other people with them calling it a sponge. They refer to it as looking like a spider egg sac

heres mine kinda looks the same bad pic as usual lol

I have several throughout my tank that look similar, from what i can tell pic- wise. thought the same, google…same… sponge group stuff.

Its a sponge. Most likely tethya family

Thanks guys I am going with sponge for now
