February Meeting

Frags will be donated by PEA!

If anyone would like to order anything from Dr. Mac, I will be picking up the raffle frags from him and can also pick up any orders from club members to save you shipping costs. Just tell Becky to include your order with the DRC frags for pick up by me.

Thanks John.

Looking forward to seeing everyone tonight!! Don’t forget Mike will be leaving the store open during and after the meeting for anyone who wishes to purchase anything. He is going to have the frag tanks filled with goodies!! Let’s show him some support!!!

Had a really good turn out for the meeting tonight!! A lot of participation. I hope everyone had a nice time! Patrick Karpin had a really nice power point presentation on his tank! Beautiful tank! I hope to have a good turn out for next month as well!!! Thanks to Mike at the Fish Bowl for allowing us to have the meeting at his store!!! Next meeting is 3/21 7pm at William Penn.

Great job Karen, really enjoyed coming to the meeting and seeing everyone there.

The presentation given by Patrick about his seahorse tank was totally awesome, very interesting. I especially was thrilled when he showed the WiFi camera he has setup, that he can view his tank on his iphone LIVE. And the zoom feature on it makes it so easy to pan across the whole system and check everything out to make sure it is running smoothly.

Being able to talk to fellow members about their tanks, corals and fish, reignites that flame inside us all which keeps us so hooked on this amazing hobby.

Looking forward to going to the next meeting.

Yes very good presentation. I have been on and off about getting a web cam. Should be a topic at one of the next meetings or thread. What to look for in a web cam, a review of the various models out there, how to set one up.
Funny to hear that the Seahorse's have a flume ride in a tank.

I also loved the camera option and have been looking into being able to use an old cell phone for the same purpose. Very interesting to see whats out there!
