Few pics

Sorry for the unfocussyness, having problems with camera, and i need a macro lense

very nice.

Oooooooh. Brightly colored softy in the last pic. Where did you pick that up and what was it called? I recognize the cap. Does it show a colored rim to the naked eye?

jon i have a large colony of that bright green softy if ya want a clipping

It looks similar to something I have, but I can’t tell. The one I have I have two small frags, neither have grown a cm in 3 years. Never really got it IDed down to genus as this stuff falls in with the Kenya Tree/Colt coral area that is just a pain in the ___ to ID.

ORA will be releasing a similar coral at some point this year. They showed it off at MACNA.

I would for sure be up for a frag.

John, make sure to keep that image and compare it to others in the future. That coral adapts it’s colors very fast. The largest one I have I moved into my main frag system two months ago and it’s colors got brighter then ever. I noticed today that it is going back to drab as the nutrient levels begin to rise in system.

Cool colors in the last pic

i can see some growth on the lip of that monti, awesome!!!

@long

If it wasn’t there before and it is new then it is new growth, lol. But some of that may have been on the coral before I sent it to John and it wouldn’t have disappeared in shipping.

finally got my anemone eating again last night, first time he has opened fully up in forever

Some new pics

like the setup. different. sprawling rather than rising.

sprawling?, i like dimensions so i have a central base, then things shooting off in different directions… its not to high in the tank… right now i need more rock…

THANKS btw

buy yourself a cheep magnifing glass and tank some macro shots lol. thats how i do it.

looks good remeber you can never have to many pictures.

ahhh, nice idea with magnifying glass… lol thanks
