I saw a sigma 105mm 2.8ex on CL, so i shot the guy a message to see if he was interested in trading for my sig 50 1.4 ex dg. My lens with filter is priced about $150 less then his lens, but didnt hurt to ask right?
we met at glasgow park on rt 40 2 hrs later today, and we traded straight up… both left smiling.
I loved that 50, but a macro has always been what i really wanted. I played with it for bout 30 mins tonight, I’m very very happy with the lens performance, and was just gettin into it… then POW CRACK BOOM… my damn 1 1/2 hp electric pool pumps blows, looked like a sparkler/ roman candle for a good 20 secs… Pool’s still green for now verdict_in
