Finally got my sump up and running took a lot longer than I expected but as we all know life gets in the way sometimes.

Chaeto will grow under just about anything. Even a cheap CFL bulb will do it. If you want to splurge a bit, you can get a grow lamp like this one:

That’s not a bad price at all. Just would have to figure out a way to mount it under my sump
Nope not bad at all. You could use one of the clip on light holders for it or if you’re good with wiring you could mount a bulb base to the underside of your stand.
You saw how long it took me to get this up and running. I’m want to buy something that is all setup and ready to go lol

I’m in Wilmington just on the border of Newark.
Near the intersection of Kirkwood Highway and Limestone Road
I can easily get you a quart ziplock stuffed. It will be full of copepods, amphipods, probably brittle stars too.
Definitely a good way to kickstart your sump.
That sounds good I’ll take some. Just have to figure out when a good time to meet is. I live in Smyrna. Maybe I grab some coral from you as well

I’m typically flexible most weekends and occasionally during the week I can meet during the day if I’m on the road
