Found some time to start using my new camera. Trying different settings to see how pics come out. Here are some of the inhabitants of my reef.

Very nice!! I love the 3rd shot - nice color pop - I’m assuming actinics only and a long shutter speed?
Thanks, you are correct. I tried moving the camera with the subject and got good result. I really like that pic also.
Nice pics John. Like the full tank shot.
as much as i hate to agree w/ bill, JK, i gotta like the fts too
thanks guys, but that is only the right side of the tank.
Here is the FTS.
Very nice color
Thanks Ian
Good job with the new camera. Your tank is looking great!! I love the way you have captured the colors in the actinic light. I always have a hard time with that.
How did you get the colors to pop so much inthat FTS what settings are you using?
The camera was set on a child portrait setting on the dial and the aperture was set to F/5 and the shutter was on 1/50s and the ISO was at 800, but I used a ISO auto setting. I used the standard lens that came with the camera 18- 55mm.
okay… looks sweet
The real answer to why the colors pop so much. He has color in his tank. He has some VERY bright corals in a nicely put together system. Camera settings might have helped a little, but buttom line his he has some nice color in the tank. When you go down to Dr. Mac’s you should check out his tank.
