OK -now that you opened the thread you have to read it.
We’re having a guest speaker and some members from neighboring clubs this month - it would be nice if we were able to put out a nice spread for them to pick at.
We need volunteers to bring snacks, desserts, drinks, dinner etc. We can’t rely on the same 2-3 people every month. If we want dinner and food available at the meetings we need people to step up to bring things. The club will reimburse you at the meeting so it doesn’t cost anything- just a few minutes of your time to bring it.
I am planning to make another pot of chili. Maybe with pulled chicken this time. I made it for the FW club recently and it turned out pretty good too. or Beef chili.

First meeting, but I’ll bring sodas. How many people, and what kind of soda is preferred?[/quote]
Thanks for offering, and we look forward to you coming to your 1st meeting. I think we usually have about 4-5 2liters there??? Cola and just a mix of anything is fine.
Well they just changed my work schedule ::hitsthefan::. Looks like I’m working till 6:30 Monday, so no time to run home, and if I bring food to work it stands no chance of getting to the meeting. So I have to bow out of food duty this month >:::, but I will bring stuff to next months meeting.
