I have for sale a Mighty Mite 50GPD w/DI RODI under sink unit. The item came from airwaterice.com so you can look it up there if you wish. I am looking for $75 obo for it. I really don’t know anything about how it works but she said all the attachments are in the box. I also have a JBJ K2 Viper 150W HQI Metal Halide clamp-on lamp, in original packaging. It does work and has never been used as far as I know. Asking $125. If you are interested please pm me for more info, thanks.
If anyone has any offers for these items please pm me, I have no use for them and will be moving soon. They came as a wholesale buy from a private seller with my aquapod. May also consider trade for frags now that I have returned my coral-eating hermit crab to the Fish Bowl. Took awhile to figure out which one it was, lesson learned its always the biggest one lol!
What type of corals are looking for in a trade?
All i have right now are my ricordia yuma and Kenya tree which are kinda taking over lol(along with a few mushrooms)… I had a duncan and frogspawn which i loved that the hermit crab ate and i like the torches also. I’d definatly be into any of those three or open to suggestions of similar corals.
Here are some orange zoo that I have. If there’s something you see in the pic that you like let me know.
Rainbow pally
Anchor coral
Trumpet
Blue Mushrooms
Large hairy shroom 5-6" wide
The anchor and hairy mush are nice, as well as the green thing in the first pic… were you interested in one of my items or just looking to get rid of youryour frags? I did some research and it turns out the viper has been used before, although it looks brand new… the items were owned by a past member of this fourm.
Actually, I’m getting ready to set up a new acros only tank. So I’m getting rid of all my softies and LPS. By the way that green thing in the first pic is a green acro. Is you tank set up to grow acros? I also have GSP and green button that you can see in the 4th pic mid top right hand side of the pic. Also, I have hollywood stunner chalice that are very easy to grow along with brown branching monti.
Not sure about my setup for acros, I know eveything I have in there now does well… and if its green and flowy I’m sure id love it, lol kinda hard to see in the pic. I’m new to the corals ive pretty much just stuck to what came with the tank but am looking for some variety now since I’ve had the tank about a year. I know I tend to enjoy the softies that I have now, like the way they give the tank an alive feeling.
Well, it seems like you just want the easy to med care corals. Acros will of course be hard for you to keep. Let me know what you like and let me know what is fair trade to you. I’m open for anything.
Love the anchor and also the very small softie in the center of the screen at 28 seconds looks kinda like a duncan. Not sure what a fair price for a few of these frags would be, can’t take anything too large as I only have a 24g…
The softy that you see in the vid is a xenia that’s attach to the red lobo and I don’t thing I can get it away from the lobo with out tearing it apart. You are welcome to stop by and have a pick at the litter if you want. Most of the frags are sm-med, the only thing that is big is the hairy shroom which is 5-6" wide.
Average price for a frag goes for $10-$20, pending on what it is.

To add to the list I also have a portable refractometer and pocket sized pH meter. Thinking about attending the meeting this month so if anyone is interested in anything let me know and I will bring it.

nice video A, looks great
Thanks John. Actually this vid was done back in Sep or Oct, but it’s was the latest vid that I have of the tank. Corals have grown since this vid was done. Guess I really need to up date the vid for comparison.
Pics of the pH meter… I couldn’t get it to stop at any specific number when I tried it however it probably just needs some calibration… You’re more than welcome to it if you can get it to work right.
