FS: 220g DRY AQUARIUM for reptiles

As most of you know my tank had a crack at the bottom and leaked :-(". So, now I need to sell it and get a replacement. If any one know someone looking for a tank to be use as a large reptile tank or someone adventurous as a DIYer would like to replace the bottom piece, please let me know. The tank is available for $50, you haul it of course. Thanks

I have replaced glass on large tanks before with great success. Is this tank RR? Hard to tell but looks like something in the left side like a overflow.

Thanks Will. The tank is RR with Bean animal style overflow on the left side of the picture. I can replace it my self as well, but the cost of the replacement glass price around here is outrageously high to where it’s more cost effective to get a new tank and less headache.

I check with glass cage and their cost is $252 total for 12 sq ft of 3/4 pane glass and $180 for shipping to somewhere in Allentown, PA. Plus gas and time to head up there to get it. So, right now still deciding what to do.

Tank is no longer for sale folks! I found a replacement glass that is very affordable and the place is near by. Stay tune for the second rebuild!

GOOD luck with it A hope to see it up and running soon!! ::thumbsup::

That’s great!!!

Please let us know if you need some help.

That’s great! just make sure you give them the right dimensions to fit just right. Measure twice, Cut once.

Sure did Ken. Measured twice.

great to hear that, A. best of luck

Great news. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. I just replace the back glass on a 220 and tank is full and running for a few months now in a customers house.

Thanks Will. I will ask questions if I have any.

I’m here if you need any help
