classic light box. You know, the old Hidden Reef store, 5 or 6 years ago before the strip mall fire, Had a super 180 display tank in the back of the old store. Everyone just had to visit it first thing when you walked in the store. It was lit with a single 6 foot hamilton light box with 3 x 250w hamilton 6500K SE bulbs and two 6 foot UVL VHO Actinics in it. the light box was propped up 6 inches above the top of the tank.
Just look at the size of those gi-gundy corals and the clear, bright colors. Simple lighting. (plus a whole lot of auto dosing/controls under the hood)
Yours is a good light hood for a 75 or 90. assuming it’s a 4 footer? you didn’t say. I think they make a 3 footer too. Which is it?
Im pretty sure its 48" but have to check…
