I have 3 of these running in my basement and use them on other people’s tanks I work on as well. Never had one fail on me and I have been really happy with them. I really like the way there is a magnet included with the temperature probe. Item for sale is just the controller and temperature probe. It is the same item as can be found here for $90 plus shipping.
Asking $65 $50 or best offer.

It does not include a heating element. I typically use either won brothers or blue line heating elements. They are cheap and do the job.(both brands practically identical so I just find the appropriate size and go for the cheapest price I can find) If buyer would like to purchase a 50W heating element, identical to this one I can include that for an additional $30.(not for sale seperatly.

I have more than I need and if I end up needing another I will just get another module and temp probe for my full controller. Really just need the cash at this point more then anything.

I realize it’s summer and perhaps a bit early to think that far ahead, but how many of us haven’t heard horror stories about cooked tanks?

If you were to buy one of these with a 150s heating element it would run over $100 after shipping. Just plug in whatever heater you have and attach the magnetized temperature probe in your sump and you can breath a bit easier.

This will be going to Craig’s list, ebay soon if no takes. I’d rather it go to someone in the club.

Hard to sell this in the middle of the summer, but someone has to realize it’s a good idea to take advantage of this now.
