Very nice reactor for bigger tanks. Includes all parts and is in great shape. $40 OBO
Pump included?
no. they were fed from a manifold off the return pump but we could include an MJ1200 for $50 total.
Manifold is a good idea. Do you have pictures? Curious to see if I could alter my T valve to run the reactor.
no. sorry. we dont have any reactors hooked up anymore.

It could be done with the T but you are going to want to have valves to reduce flow through the unobstructed output to force it through the media reactor.
FWIW Some speciality manifolds that just look cool PVC-Manifolds at FlexPVC.com
still available. make an offer. will include maxijet feed pump free.
If it is the one I sent in the PM consider it sold.
sorry. didnt realize i didnt post a pic.
Bill - its similar to the one in the PM but not quite the same. i think the diameter is a little smaller but everything is almost the same.
In that picture its hard to tell what the inlet and outlet are. It also looks real skinny is it skinny?
the in/out are 1/2" black hose barbs. its hard to measure the diameter exactly because it has a small flange on top but the diameter with the flange is almost 4" exactly. the tube definitely isnt 4" but it doesnt look like its 3.5" either. I would say the OD is between 3.5" and 4".
OK how does the media go in? Does the top screw off? I don’t see flange screws. I will take it anyway just curious… Probably not going to be able to connect with you for a couple weeks. Have a B-day party and plans this weekend. My daughter turns 2 and we have a party and plans for her next weekend. SO the next couple weekends are a mess…
its a twist lock flange. there arent any screws. this is the design that PM uses for most of their stuff. the top of the reactor has a grey pvc flanged attached to it. the clear tube isnt attached to anything and the one white strainer is attached to it about 1" from the bottom of the tube. you put the tube in with the strainger on the bottom, put a sponge on top of the fixed strainer, pour in your media, slide another sponge over the tube on top of the media and then another white strainer that is not attached. you then line the clear tube up with the opening in the lid and place the lide on the flange on the reactor. the lid has two notches in it that line up with the flange. after lining it up you simply twist it closed. very easy. no gasket, no plumbing tape, no leaks. works like a charm. the one hose barb on the lid lines up with the tube and is your input. the other is your output. we will include a MJ400 feed pump but its ideal to feed it from a manifold from your return pump with an inline ball valve to adjust the flow rate.
i will be at the Feb meeting if you plan to go. I probably wont be much help meeting you but i can always ship it. i have a box laying around that will fit it perfect and plenty of bubble wrap. shipping would be less than $10.
Let me see if I can get to the meeting. I will let you know. If you are in a hurry my fealings will not be hurt if you sell it to Craig. You have my word that I will buy it just need a couple weeks. Between the B-Day parties and not working OT last week the $ is a little low the next couple weeks.
No, we arent in a hurry. Just hit me up when you are ready to buy it.
sold!
just hit me up when you’re ready Bill.
Thank You
I was able to fix my reactor. I told them I wanted the reactor so they were holding it for me. Hopefully someone else can use this reactor. If not I will give it a few weeks and buy it just to hold my word. So if anyone wants this its available.
