They were attached when they were half the size and have been growing quickly.
Hey , keep them Birds nest frags growing. I will need a new one someday. The frag i grew from a Mike C. frag a while back sucumbed to some plague and died off. i was bummed! I wanted to return a frag to him of his orignal genetic stock. but it died off in a few weeks of some infection, after flourishing for more than a year. so time is coming soon to start a new colony. if it’s ORA, they are all probably genetically connected.
I hope we aren’t inbreeding too much. as fraggers, and fish breeders, we need to keep an eye on maintaining genetic diversity.
Which is why “FRAG SWAPS” are so important! to cross polinate. and improve the strain.
