fungia going asexual at fish bowl?

i was up at the fb and saw the fungia that had been there a few weeks and had looked normal. the mouth is starting to split kinda of looks triangle shaped no skeleton showing and it still lookes happy so seeing if any one knows about this subject?

its just a technicality but going asexual means it would spawn both reproductive means.

i believe this is called cloning where they split like an anemone.

i could be wrong.

i dont know if fungia split, i know there method of asexual reproduction is called, well i dont know the word for it. but they bassically dissapear, and then multiple babies pop up. kinda like xenia. but xenia splits too. who knows

I think they just spud, like buds on an old potatoe.
