It’s a really cool little pump. It’s controllable, which is nice, and it is in a small form factor. I popped it in the tank to see how the flow looked and I’m impressed by the wide flow that comes out of it. Not sure how it will fair pushing against my MP40, but we shall see!
More to follow once I figure out what outlet I’m going to swap this into on my Reef Angel or if I’m going to finally hook up the second outlet box…
For the price, I couldn’t resist. I was looking at some of the knockoff crossflow style pumps, but they’re so unreliable and I had a bad experience with my last two Jebaos. I had an issue with the out of the box, the rotor was making noise. I emailed Tunze and got a replacement part in the mail 3 days later. I’m sure this pump will live up to their reputation.
