I saw CNN do a story today about the serious decline in coral in the Great Reef. They say that the crown of thorns starfish has a big part in the destruction, but thats mainly because of humans affecting the breeding grounds of the juvenile stars. I went to the computer to read more and there was an article, right here on our homepage http://www.delreefclub.org/!

A few months ago at the seashell shop on rt. 1 at the beach i saw dried crown of thorn starfish about a 10 - 12’’ for $20… I’ll do my part to save the reef and buy one next time i’m down there…

I dont normally condone the dried out gift shop items, but the coral muncher is gonna be a great x-mas tree - topper ::rofl::

Hey, and while you are at it. Next time you go spear fishing, just remember , Lion Fish taste Just like Chicken!! you can find them right off the Jersey coast now.
