I could do another one in a month or two. Perhaps some different corals like leathers? Really would like to video tape it this time though and post it on the site with an article. Or for a change I’m sure Ken would be willing to do an SPS fragging demo however most of of the new members really aren’t keeping too many SPS.
I’m sure I could watch a utube video and figure it out, but I’d rather watch someone like Jon/Ken frag one up in person. I could ask the youtube video guy questions and suggestions but my monitor just stares back at me like I’m and idiot for asking it questions. Maybe its something better done at say DPA or something? I was just thinking of another idea for a “demo” at the meeting.

I have some sort of leather (Devil’s Hand I think) that I’d donate, as long as I get a small piece to take back home. It’s not big, but might make three frags. That’d be two (2) we could raffle off @ the end.
Additionally, we could check around LFS to see if there would be a willing donor. I know of at least one reef club had their monthly meeting at a LFS. The LFS donated some of the coral to be fragged. The club got (at least some) free frags and the LFS got a slew of customers walking in the door. That usually means $$$ for the store. And since I was there, they got some of my $$$.

The Fish Bowl in Dover showed interest in donating a coral and after hour use of the store for a meeting/fragging class. they don’t close until 8 all week, so it could be done during hours OR after hours whatever the club prefers. best night for after hours would be sunday, they close at 5.
I figured I’d offer up some of the services I have. If anyone wants to hack their iPhone or Wii but doesn’t know how, give me a yell. I’ve ‘jailbroke’ my phone for over a year now and I love all of the extra bits it adds to the phone, it really improves functionality. Also I got a Wii for xmas and have since ‘hacked’ it so it functions nicely as a media player for my downloaded videos and also it works as an emulator for all the old games systems (n64, snes, nes, genesis, gba) as well as other 3rd party apps.
So let me know I’m pretty versed in computers and can get you hooked up.
What do you do to the iPhone? I’ve had my for almost a year and a half, so it’s the old version they first came out with. I just sold my wii for loan payments

It basically allows you to load 3rd party apps NOT through the app store. Apple’s filtering of the apps through the app store is pretty stringent and cuts out a lot of useful apps. The 3rd party ‘hacking’ scene was making apps wayy before the app store. Google jailbreaking iphone and you’ll find a whole wealth of info. Some of the things I’ve done that I find the most useful:
Functionality
A program that launches when the top status bar is swiped that gives you the ability to change brightness, turn on/off wifi, blue tooth, free space, volume, ipod on/off, ssh on/off, kill processes, avail mem (ram). Basically a task manager with a few other functions, something apple should have provided. So much easier todo than waiting for the settings program to load up and turn something on/off.
Fully functional video recorder, Audio/video player (all formats, not just “ipod”), access to the phones file structure (its Unix or FreeBSD based), SSH access (access file structure through your PC), VNC server (control you phone from your computer), basically most things that are available on common *nix (unix, linux, mac) systems.
Also you can load themes to your phone which can change basically anything on the phone GUI wise. Sliders (Slide to unlock) can be whatever you want, background image on the home (springboard) screen. Icon’s for apps. Five icon dock (instead of 4). Heck your background can even be a video if you want.
It is great if your a sys admin, I can use my phone to do just about anything I can do with my laptop, except, I’m on my phone.
You can also load up ‘hacked’ app store apps for free. But I don’t think that’s legal so we wouldn’t do that right?
Wow, and to think I’ve been just using my phone as just a phone haha. Is this all stuff I could do or would you have do it? Are you accepting frags as payment? 
Depends on how computer savvy you are. Some of parts are tricky. Since a year ago when I first starting ‘jailbreaking’ it has come a long way and is much easier now. Of course I’d would accept frags and get ya setup
