Just would like to take this opportunity to not let us forget how thankful we should all be, to live in a great country like the USA, that we can own the things that we have and be able to share with each other. Let us not forget the brave people who are not here this Thanksgiving and say THANKS tomorrow.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY to all the people who are on this site.
i for one love to celebrate the mass slaughter of an indigenous people that loved the land and air more than them selves and left no trash only to be replaced by a society that throws computers in the garbage when they are outdated but still work!

There is always one in every group… comedian that is.
the first thanksgiving had turkey but it was a minor chord. Most popular was venison, duck, goose, clams, oysters as they were readily found in pilgrim life. turkey was not so common…

I know you were joking, but it just seems rude to the OP. Maybe I have no sense of humor, but I thought his post was about being thankful not killing indians.

it’s important for americans to understand thanksgiving can be very condescending to the majority of native americans. native americans are the most disprivileged ethnic group, many are way below the poverty level and are basically destitute… i kinda think the story would be very different if the apaches were on the east coast to “welcome” the pilgrims 300 years ago. american is a great country, but we can’t forget all of the wrongs which happened so there never repeated.
