the wierd thing is my nitrates always read 0 and the highest ive ever seen my phosphates is 0.5 but even after the cyano is gone i am having crazy hair algea problems im trying to fix nowi have been more aggressive in my water changes recently so i am hopeing that it will be under control soon
PO4 @ 0.50 is high and would be feeding nuisance algae, what you want is more like 0.04 for a mixed reef 0.08 for a softy tank and 0.02 for SPS
maybe it was 0.05 it was the second lowest reading on my test kit
