help needed. sump!

huge crack extending out from a bulkhead in my 40 B sump, slow leak, a drop a second or less. anybody have anold similar sized tank cheap for sale? or is my best bet to get a 50 gal brute and work from there? in basement so leak is not harming anything outside the tank.

You can silicone a piece of acrylic over the crack as a temp patch till you get a new tank.

I think you would do better with the 50 gal brute, more water is more gooder, but they are ugly. If the sump can not be seen then that is not a big deal.

Go with the plastic, easier to drill hole for bulhead and no more worries about leaking.

great idea, pat!
for a long-term solution, though, any idea where the brutes are sold?

I would get one from tractor supply, but I don’t know if any are close to you.
