Dont think too many people would make this trip-But if you do- you’re in for a treat…House of Fins is one of the best if not “the best” high end fish & reef stores in the tri state area…
I use to attend every year when I lived in NY & CT…
This place is not for those who are afraid to crack open their wallet -In fact we used to call it “house of finance” back in the day,but you will see one of the nicest selections of aquarium livestock, rarities etc…
Looks like they have a great lineup of guest speakers for the event this year…
Last time I stopped in back in may 2010 they had a rare grouper on display that cost $6,000.00…
You never know what you will see there next… and while in the area -right nearby is Greenwich Aquaria owned by Jason Edward - a former HOF employee .Another “dream” aquarium store that panders to the rich…loads of eye candy & an amazing show tank with a couch in front of it for visitors to sit & watch…
WOW! The couch is a nice touch!
Hey, you forgot the most important item. the website.
Nice Place…
Yes , kaptken … and here’s the website for the other must see store in that area:
Click on the “STORE” tab on the greenwich aquaria website to see a slideshow of the inside of the store !!!
In one of the pics is the huge show tank (600gal reef?) with the couch in front of it…Tank has a deep sandbed with many garden eels that reside in the sand…
