So, who went to either swap this weekend? how was it? and what did you get?
I did the ncpars swap. Got a bunch of zoa’s. I was going to the dvrc swap but with.the problems I ran into I had to cancel.
I’ll try and post some pics up.
I attended the DVRC swap. They had a pretty decent turnout and they had two guest speakers that skyped live with the audience. Dr. Sanjay and I’m forgetting the other dude’s name.
I ended up with a nice sized acro from The Reef Hut and this really cool flourescent green softie from another vendor based out of the Poconos.
I noticed that under the lights at first some of the colors were super bright but soon faded a bit. The bam bams on the right were completely bright neon orange. The tangelos were also brighter. Ill have to get a picture with the baby rastas that are barely able to be called a frag let alone even a baby and the beautiful chong bongs.
I traded my ORA derasa clam and my wellso brain for a bunch of the zoa’s.
1 of the Rasta frags, blue hornet, supposed to be eagle eyes but the ring is red and the skirt is not green
The green colony I think is leperchan, Not sure of the ones id but the guy thought it was bam bams(not),Tangelos, true bam bams,green birdsnest from morty
Captain america palys, whammin watermellon(was supposed to be eagle eyes),violet hornet, closed polyps are chong bongs, purple orchid but I have to check cause it is not purple, bam bams

I didn’t make it to neither, but Ken did bring me back an Efflo and a Red Dragon acros from NCPARS. Just got it from him earlier today and right now the the lights are out so, pics will follow tomorrow. Very happy the way both of them looks.

I went to the NCPARS swap at TFP and found it to be pretty packed. and hot! So many people It was like 90 degrees and of course real humid from all the tanks. But who cares! I had 11 frags reserved, picked them up and then found 3 more i just couldn’t resist. All seemed really nice, size, colors and nice and healthy. some were fresh cut and glued, and some based. all looking good. Just adding to my genetic bank.
A and I both got Efflo’s from Jack. Jack had two varieties. mine is a light mint green with lavender tips, looks a bit pale now under change of lights, but A’s was a brighter green with purple tips, and looked very good. when we grow em, we can trade. Looking at one purple frag, a nice little brancing bunch, it looks a bit like a GARF purple Bonsai? Nice. Can’t wait to see it grow. plus many more purple and green and blue acro varieties, a blue hydnophora from Zoogirl and a nice baby green Fungia too from IAMTOMM. And my highlight of the hot, humid day, a nice Cool Pink Lemonade from Dan the Man Rigle!!

There are two stores besides Craig
…and I’m not 100% certain Craig is doing anything with it right now. Last I heard he was taking some time off from the hobby / business.
Kelvin at Knockout is a great guy though.

That looked like a great system.
Here’s my 2 that Ken got for me from the NCPARS swap. Of course bad iPhone pics. Front is the Efflo and the back is the Red Dragon. Efflo is a good size frag and the color is suppose to be green with purple edge. The Red Dragon is only 3/4" if that but, I am very excited to get the Red Dragon for this price. Even at this size frag some other places goes for $150 or more, believe it or not. Of course I would never pay that much for a frag no matter how rare or excotic it is.
Sweeet! are they supposed to be fast growers?

LOL, you know I have no problem sharing my frags, especially to our club members. They’re suppose to be med grower. I’m sure it also depends on how well you take care of them. I hope they will be fast growers too.

I do get frags of it from time to time I sell a 1" or better for $75. Now that the coral system is good I have been getting some pretty nice acros large frags at a fair price I sell 2" Muti branch shortcake frags for $69 ice fire are $59
