OK guys heres what ive been ranting about for the past few weeks. Just picked it up from ellen (ento_reefer) today. Cant wait to have time to work on it and get it leak tested and ready to fill.
I will be posting pics as we go, gonna change a couple things and probably throw a new coat of paint on the stand and will be plumbing everything for the next few days, but for now heres some pics to get this thread started.

haha killing me about the fish. Our older husky will go up and watch the clowns, i think they watch her to because when she comes up to the tank they will swim down low to the bottom.
I have large shoes to fill sense this tank use to belong to ellen and her sick reef skills. We’ll see what i can pull off.
Will do A, thanks for loaning me your stuff. If its ok ill bring them in tomorrow (tuesday) imma start mizing salt tonight.
Thanks for all the comments guys, should have her set up and running by the end of the day wed, then the wife and I are headed to Dr Macs to to add to our coral stock.

No problem Casey, any time. You still doing the pedestal for it?
So how jealous are your dogs going to get with this new tank. Looks like they’ve been trained for some time to have their picture taken, lol.
Have fun at Dr. Mac’s. Check out his gorgonians while your there, usually a good deal and pretty healthy, though he was running low on them a couple weeks ago. If you wanted to pick up anything from his limited edition page make sure to let them know ahead of time as some of the stuff is grown out in other buildings and not there in the retail store. You’ll have a blast if you’ve never been before.
To be honest they love their picture taken. I dont think they get to jealous of the tanks because theres always extra pvc to chew on or the pups favorite is when i have a bucket of saltwater mixing with a powerhead he goes bobbing for powerheads.lol they def watch me hardcore when im working in the tank.
Yea this is our first time going down there. We are from NC and i will always remember the 1 single Dr. Macs shippment my LFS got in. The reef club in my area held their meeting at the store and needless to say the swept out the Dr. Macs stuff. Ive never had a gorgonian but i am getting more into the reef than i have ever been so we will see. We will def be picking up a clam or 2 for the wife they have had her eye for quit some time.
I will def post tons of picture of what we get and try to take some pictures while we are down there.
If anyone wants anything from there LMK and we can arrange a time tomorrow to meet and get money to get what you want. We are going down thursday and will be back late that night.

Quick update: just finished repainting the stand and finishing up some adjustments with it. Last night got pretty mich all the plumbing marked up and together now just gotta go back and glue it all together. Should be running a leak test by tonight. Once we find out it it’s good I’ll move it in the house and fill it with saltwater and start everyone’s favorite thing…aquascapeing!!
