Hey guys. Well…I just returned from my tour in Vietnam after 14 months and this is what my tank look like now. I am not into fraging but will consider if you expert think I need to.

First of, welcome back.
That is one mature filled in tank. Is that a full grown damsel? Looks nice and natural, but just a bit crowded.
Fragging is up to you to an extent, but I would warn that with things that full the tank will be suffocated a bit pretty soon if there are areas of the tank that don’t get much flow and are unable to “breath”. It is difficult to say and not an easy decision. If you start to mess around too much with a deep sand bed and a rock wall you could already have areas which if stirred up will quickly cloudy the tank and strip oxygen. Keep the flow high and sand stirring snails will help.
One thing you may consider is trading in some of the rocks at your LFS vs fragging. This way you won’t have to cut things up too much or have an extra tank to house the little frags until they are healed. Perhaps you could trade in three large rocks for a couple little frags you always wanted to trade. It is best to call your LFS first before counting on them to take them.
Ok, just looked at the zoomed in shots, that is one big old damsel. Sure he was pretty and peacefull when it was little.
WELCOME BACK
Tank looks very nice!

Yeah that damsel is huge now but he doesn’t bother anyone in the tank at all.
You’re lucky. Likely wouldn’t be easy to add anything though. I would be surprised if he took kindly to new additions. I think what you have works well though. They seem to be happy animals and get along with each other.
Welcome back!! who ever took care of your tank while you were gone, did a great job. Every time I leave for 6 month it seems I have to start all over again. Very healthy looking tank. Did you go to Vietnam with JTF-FFA?
Welcome home, Joe! I moved your topic to the member tank area, I think you mistakenly placed it in the marketplace.

Yes my wife took care of the tank while I was gone believe it or not. I think she actually did a better job than I would have.
Yes I was a part of that which is now called JPAC (Joint POW/MIA Accounting Comand). Are you farmilar with it and when were you there?
I guess your wife is little bit more into it than mine. Mine just make sure its still alive when I get home. Which maybe 50% at best. At least its not all dead, I’ll give her that.
Yes, I’m familar with JPAC. I was in Utapo, Thailand supporting the mission back in 2001.
