trying to post in threads and i am getting this message. The upload folder is full. Please try a smaller file and/or contact an administrator… whaz up?
file is small enough and tryed it 5 times.
We’ve got over 40 pages of attachments which have been uploaded since the site went live, using up a ridiculous amount of web space. Until we have a chance to go through and start cleaning out the really old files can you please use photobucket to post pictures?
We have reviewed this issue amongst the current and incoming officers and have decided that we are going to do away with the ability to post attachments. The original idea was to be able to post things that were not able to be hosted on a 3rd party server, such as word docs, .pdf docs, spreadsheets etc.
Unfortunately people figured out it was just easier and less work on their part to sue the attachment option to post pictures as well (can’t say we blame them, it just wasn’t what the option was designed for).
We’ve posted a link to the instructions Al wrote up when we launched the site on how to utilize 3rd party hosting sites to post pictures in the forums. We’ve stickied the thread at the top of this forum and it can also be found in the “How to…” section of the board.
