I just found this. Its about 3 or 4 mm. I think. Its hard and prickly like a starfish. Its purple and gray?
Can I email or text someone the pic for upload? I can’t get it small enough

If u upload via photobucket it will resize it automatically. Just click the img code on the right of the pick and paste it in.
The app is really good too.
From the description sounds like an Astraea starfish or asterina. Algae grazers mostly but there are some bad ones
Try this
I believe those are called micro stars. They are good for the tank!
If they are good is there anything I can do to help them or will they do fine on their own?

Look under starfish in this article:
They’ll be fine on their own.
:BEER. Tyty I have no idea how this tiny thing caught my eye yesterday. A few weeks ago I also spotted a green brittle star. Very tiny of course. I haven’t seen it since
If you want more I could fill a sandwich Baggie for ya ::
Sure I’ll take some. That would be awesome. We’re you located? Not the white stars I have plenty of them
Lol I was kidding but if you want some you can have em the brittle stars. I’m in Smyrna Dover. Probably not worth the trip if you’re too far away
I’m in dover but work in middletown. Text me. 303-359-6052
They are normally hitchhickers and come in on rocks and corals.they reproduce fast and soon enough they will be everywhere
yes and a lot more will show up
