Pardon the hair algae ever since the skimmer went down i have to live with it… just put a nice cleanup crew in we will see what happens… maby some algae eating fish…

Its algae, usually doesn’t last too long in tanks, but once in a while you will see someone with a bunch. Won’t hurt anything.
the bright green thing is an algae… how should i get rid of it or just leave it
Yup its a macro algae. Neomeris. a pretty cool little hitch hiker. harmless. looks nice and bright. I have some here and there. they only grow an inch tall. I would keep it.

I’ve had them in the past, but they never lasted long. I wonder if one of my animals ate them. Anyways as Ken said it is peaceful and worth keeping. If it starts to spread and you get several of them I would trade you something if you could get one separated.(like snip off the rock below it, similar to how you would frag a yellow polyp or clove, I’ll show you at the frag event)
