impressions of wp40 wavemaker

Having one of these jebao wp40 in my tank now for 1 week, i thought i would give my impressions. The jebao is replacing three jbl oceanstreams that i had in my tank.my tank is 36x18x20 and placement of the ph is six inches down, pointed to right front corner from the left side rear.the magnet that holds the ph to the back wall works real well. water movement is really good. i have it set on w1 and everything is my tank is swaying back and forth and surface is a bouncing. the corals i have are responding good with more polyp extension has increased. only time will tell if this wavemaker can hold up. but it is a good alternative to the high priced vortechs and tunuze wavemakers. the only problem i have had is with the controller itself, had to attach it to my stand in a vertical postion so the night sensor would work correctly.

are you using any of the mods listed on RC or an adjustable power supply ?

i got a variable ac adapter as mentioned on rc but, i have found that running it at 24 volts presents no problems(ie splash over). probally because the size of the tank.
