Well my car just took a dive today. And I only have about $3000 to buy a new one. Anyone have a car or truck within or around that price range there looking to let go?

The car you saw me in was a rental the first snow we got some kid T-boned me while I was at a red light. He tried to turn and slid straight into me. My C/V joint/broke I was gonna change it but when I took the tire off the two main bolts that hold the whole tire assembly on won’t come off. I heated em up with the tourch sprayed them, breaking bar, even a pipe wrench with a pipe and still can’t move them the cars old and I reall need a new one I just sold another Furnace job tonight so after that install I should have arond 7k So I’m really looking for a decent work truck.

Thanks ken I’ll check them out. A member also told me about Cheap & Charming auto’s in Newport, DE 302-996-9524 said there cars are reliable and he stand by them. just thought I would pass on the info.

never go to the public auto auctions… Most dealers send their cars there because they have issues. not all but most. I used to know alot of guys that did that years back some still do. Cheap & Charming is a good outfit it is basically a 1 man show there so its very personal and all word of mouth. He does not advertise and he has been in business since I was 8 when he had a wholesalers license and now retail but much cheaper then retail. Most of the cars came from insurance auctions that were in collisions, he fixes them up and makes sure everything is good on them before he will sell them. Located in Newport Industrial Park.
