Incorrectly marked Anthias..$14

I went to get beer yesterday at the shopping center down the road from Premium with the new Bjs in it. I stopped in the Pet Kare to look at some stuff for my cat, when i noticed that had some saltwater tanks. The tanks look horrible and it makes me want to rescue every fish they have. Anyway, they had pink and yellow anthias marked as something else…for $14…I cant buy anymore fish, but i thought id pass this along.

i’ve actually noticed the anthias as well a few other miss marked items the ones are marked as “polyp frag’s” in their main display tank but your correct alot of their tanks seem to have cyano problems and they are small but the general condition of the fish visibly is ok

Wonder what type of anthias they are? Barletts? Maybe I will go check it out tomorrow and let everyone know. Wish I could get some, but I have to work on getting my tank up and running first!

Pet Kare’s are always good for some mismarked deals, they sold me a fighting conch as a $1.50 hermit crab. I said i don’t think its a hermit and he goes, “Yea that is DEFINITELY a hermit.” I wasn’t in an arguing mood that day.

Checked them out real quick. They had no idea what they are talking about. I don’t know what anthias they are off the top of my head, nothing special though. They aren’t in good shape though, swimming vertically and not eating. They are mislabeled as purple chromis, but the price isn’t, $15 a piece sounds about right for them. I wouldn’t chance it though.
