Oh and I have to say I am sorry we will not be giving away any zero edge aquariums. Armco is doing pretty well these days however we are not doing well enough to start handing out these bad boys. Besides I would have been the first in line and you would have already seen a new tank build thread from me, lol. Everyone will have to come out Saturday to see what I am talking about.
Hey, don’t take my word for it! Listen to what these famous people have to say about zero edge aquariums!

“Zero edge aquariums are like a pizza without a crust.” -Papa John

“I didn’t design zero edge aquariums, they are abominations.” -God

“Change we can believe in does not include removing the edge from aquariums.” -President Obama

Sounds like you guys are pushing these setups now. I can understand why. They have a very modern appeal.

:-)lol Very Funny!!

These are very nice and make perfect sense for someone that can a) afford one and b) afford to pay a lackey like Jon@Armco to clean their tank >LOL<

Dont get me wrong, they are SUPER nice. I also have to agree with Jon on all of his points. A lot of use got to see one of these in person at Macs last year, and after chatting it up with the staff, it would seem that these are no more, if less, maintenance than a regular tank. However, i think the target demographic is non-hobbyiest that own tanks. A hardcore reefer could find a 1001 things to spend that kind of money on before a gimmicky tank!

Hey… Do you know how to keep a Reefer in suspence?

So any information you can release about what willbe happening tomorrow…

I’ll Tell you later!

I’ll Tell you later!
Ken will be the first one to post after 3pm declaring he figured out what we are doing at the reef club event at Armco, lol.

As far as more hints… we are not going to be demonstrating the construction of a vivarium.

just tough to spend the same amount of money for 15ish gallon tank that u can spend on, say, a 150 or so!!!

i think some of the “gimmicky” tanks r sweet, dont get me wrong. but a 30ish gallon cardiff with everything to run for half the price would be a no brainer for me.

IMHO the new cardiff are neat, but can not compair with a zeroedge. I am not sure if they have map pricing and I was not aware of a requirement for the store to have one on display, but fishguy9 you should look at the wholesale price list. The retail pricing I have seen has a singnificant mark up.

o… i saw it. 1100 is a slim mark up…
