got my generator, inverter and battery blubbers on the ready… I really hope it doesnt get too bad, but ive been through too many power outages in the last year to be hopeful… Good luck to everyone out there in fish land!!!
:FLUSH)
Im still making preps for tanks and home. almost there. just need a new bottle of propane for the que to burn some food if the power goes out for a few days. I got extra batteries for the little air pumps and my LED flashlight collection. but the the stores were nearly out of C and D cells last night. get em fast if you need em. I usually lend some LED flashlights to a couple neighbors when we have these outages. It’s funny, you can see the lights from the kids running around the dark houses with the small LEd lights, having a lot of fun! Keeps em from getting scared of the dark.
For those still looking for battery air pumps, Eastern Marine on Rt 72 right near BJs has several still in stock and those with higher needs they have 12 volt bulge pumps and deep cycle batteries coming in tomorrow morning.
And walmarts everywhere, fish buddies. for your bait bucket.
Update: Eastern Marine is closed today.
Walmart may have some?
Everything is closed. state of emergency since 5am no driving. I heard of some cops telling people to find a new employer because they made employees come in
Yah everything is closed except for dunkin donuts and the grocery stores lol
It looks like the storm track has moved right back over us again. here it comes . you can zoom in on the current track.

Hey everyone, aside from electronics ready to go, make sure you have plenty of top off water as well as a full water change lined up, I like to do one right after this type of event… haha it took a hurricane to make me change my water.
Good luck everyone.
Hope all’s is well for everyone. Here in Dover, surprisingly the power did not go out at all. At least where I’m at, thank goodness. But I was prepared for it to go out. How is everybody else?
Power is on in Newark!
I survived in New Castle.
Middletown is good! We have power.
I survived in delco. Lost power for about 5 hours generator kicked in and all was good.
All good here, the power stayed on and the kids didn’t drive us crazy YahoO
Not even a flicker in the power all night. no problem here. the storm seemed to skip over a good chunk of new castle. all the areas around new castle seemed to have lots of outagages and trees down, according to the news, but not bad here. i walked around the yard and no major branches or trees broken. so i’m happy.
power flickered here, but no loss…WOOT…
some good lessons learned to get better prepped for next time though
cheers
lots of flickers for several hours…finally went out around 6 pm… back on around midnite.
Generator was running, i unplugged skimmer and return pump. Heater and 2 power heads with moonleds were perfect.
Lights flickered a few times in Camden, but stayed on. So far so good on the tank front.
