Items on CL

Sent a email to sec. to see if you guys have a for sale section and how to pay for the yearly dues, no response yet, listed on main Reef club, they go pissy and deleted it, since I didn’t give 50 worthwhile post yet… ? So I listed My old 90 gal and 48" Coralife light on Del CL this morning.

We do have a market place board, it is currently reserved for Premium Members. I guess it’s a little harder to join during the summer months when we don’t have regular meetings.

I’ll send a message to the officers for you to have someone catch up with you about where to send your dues to.

Thanks, and as for the sale board, I can see keeping posting to premium members, (and viewing to keep spamers from marketing) But when you want to sell, you would want google (people) to find it. So how to make the best of the for sale board? You understand what I mean?

And the site rocks.

I’m not a fan of the private market forum, I have 2 powerheads for sale and every premium member already has them… its like working at a car dealership and trying to sell your coworkers a car.

like living in amsterdam and trying to sell your competitors a J.

Better analogy is like trying to sell a hobbyist in an advanced forum a power compact fixture for their reef tank.

There are about 6 threads which have been in the recent posts section which are DRC sponsors clearancing out the old Hydor’s and selling the new ones on a big sale. Hard to sell a used power head when you can by a new one on clearance or buy the new technology. Most of the frequent posters on this board only by the latest and greatest. It would be equally as difficult to sell a Corallife super skimmer. (Isn’t horrible skimmer, but not the latest and greatest)

Should also be said it’s the slow season.
