Jason Fox chalice

After watching that video showing the amazing amount of awesome chalices that Jason Fox has in his tanks, I picked one up today, a Raspberry waterfall chalice.

I will post some pics after it settles into my DT.

::thumbsup:: I don’t blame you John, just remembering that video gets the drool flowing ::drool::

can’t wait to see it :BEER

It’s nice to be able to go to Dr. Mac in less than 10-15 min! ;D Like gambling, I’d go broke! Can’t wait to see it John.

A, you’re right. It is nice having Pacific East real close to me. Couldn’t ask for a better LFS. Much more rewarding than a casino ::rofl::
And having a good relationship with Dr. Mac really helps to offset the amount of money I have to spend.

Plus, I believe that I have reached the point in this hobby, where I can control the urge to just get everything that I like and now I am able to be more selective and spend my money more wisely. Instead of buying 2 or 3 frags that I like, I just hold off and wait for the 1 frag that may cost the same as the 3 combined, can be a larger size, and will have a better chance of survival in my tank.

I thought we talked about this when I was at your house lol… :BEER

You are right Tim, we did talk about it. but I didn’t buy the chalice because it has the Jason Fox tag on it, I bought it because I like the way it looks.
Especially in my tank. PBJ!

Here it is 1 day after being in my DT.

Under actinic lights…

Now with the LEDs and actinic on…

A group shot…

OOOOHHHHHH…AAHHHHHHHHH ::drool::

Nice!

Very nice grab John ::thumbsup::

and the group shot is sweeeeeet! the orangish chalice on the right looks interesting ::thinking::, next time you fool with the camera a close-up of that one is on my request list ::rofl::

Nice chalice John!!!

Make sure you post frequent pics, I’d like to see how it’s growing and what kind of colors it gets in your tank

(full disclosure: I also want to know when I can ask for a frag of it :stuck_out_tongue: )

Ok will keep pics updated with growth and color changes, if any.

Jason has a great selection of chalices. It’s gonna look even better in your good tank!

Happy tank! Happy Corals!!

looks really nice!

Thanks guys. He has such an amazing collection of chalices, that we will never see that many beautiful corals all in the same place at the same time. I would really enjoy seeing all of his passion in person.

Jason has his own online store does he not allow in person buys ?

Yeah, where does he live?

That would be one hell of a club field trip… if he would do it ::thumbsup::

I know he lives in western Maryland. I believe he only sells on line and thru other well known websites.

I 'm in for that club trip. BoNg ;D

Maybe our club officers can get a hold of him and maybe ask him if we can do our summer group tour there.
