thanks.
WOW - very nice!!! The cloves are Incredible looking. I may have to consider speding some xmas money in Jon’s basemet.
Glad to see they’ve opened up and are doing alright Paul. Hope you’re happy with them. Where are you planning on keeping them?(upstairs/downstairs)
Craig I haven’t really traded or sold too much in the last couple of months. I figure even if people have dull old PC lights the increase in PAR would probably shock the corals.(that is because my T5s are ancient) I figured the palys and cloves are some of the hardier stuff that should be ok. Aquacultured stuff is supposed to be strong and used to typical conditions, so I am currently waiting till I get around to ordering new bulbs. I haven’t seen many posts about your tank recently, perhaps posting some photos would get you some new ideas or force yourself to relook at things.
right now they’re downstairs in the 75. when the 65 moves, they’ll probably go into that.
Cool looking cloves. I like them.
Cloves are rather rare in the hobby trade, I don’t know why. i just got a clove frag at DPA last week. I hope it does well. I like them. I think its similar. Hmmm? wonder if it was a Jon’s? DPA is frag central for selling and trading good frags these days.
Or so I hear.
ken, i thought you supplied all their frags. lOl
I hea… saw that too6^^
only some. others do some nice frags too. as Anthony Calfo says, the hobby needs more farmers. plenty of room in the market. we are a long ways from making a dent in the wild caught market.
if people outside the hobby would realize that many of the dedicated hobbyists are actually propagating species that are being decimated in the wild, it would be a blessing.
