Keeping test kits organized.

I know its not that important to some but I got tired a while ago looking for tubes, syringes, and all that when the boxes got old and wet and pieces went missing.

So a while back somebody gave me an old Hagen test kit bundle that came in a case, and while the kits were crap, the case was cool and I kept it to organize my stuff.

I don’t know why I’m even posting this lol but I was doing maintenance today and just thought I’d share lol.

What kits do most of you guys use? I prefer salifert and have a few Red Sea products.

::thumbsup:: wow, thats pretty Tim… I’ve got you topped though… I’ll have to take a pic soon…

must be a good day for tanks… lots of people doing the “crappy day stuck inside maintenance” thing

I use API for everything but Mg… thats Salifert

Yup I just nuked a bunch of tulip anemones. Will test and clean in a little while.

I use Red Sea test kits.

there’s nothing left from the original purchase except the box, but it still holds all my stuff. It was my first real salt test kit. check out the price tag ::rofl:: that was 20 years ago!

and bought at greenbanks. coool!

ha nice. i have that same hagen test too i’m gonna copy you mr. fancy pants lol

Elos, and refractometer is what I can on. That being said I’m trying out a couple others for some less commonly tested elements.

I mostly often use API DKH and Calcium and PH test kits. and an old SeaChem magnesium test kit. and occasionally the new Red Sea Potassium Pro test kit i ordered at DPA , because i dose a little potassium chloride. the IO salt I’m using now is a little low on potassium. I bought a SeaChem IODINE test kit a couple years back, but never figured out how to use it. it sounds too complicated.

And if YOU think it’s complicated there is absolutely no hope for the rest of us to be able to figure it out.
