Have fun Paul. It sounds like my kind of vacation.
Wow nice vacation!!! Sorry you’ll miss the meeting but hey I love to take a vacation like that. Sure the highlight pics will be great.
Have alot of fun and be safe!!
Cool idea for a trip. I was in Amsterdam in 1980 and stayed at the Hotel Wiechmann for a week on Prinsengracht. Rates were pretty low then. Back then it was owned and run by a big guy from California who married a local Ducth woman. And they both looked like Grizzly Adams! But nice people and a nice hotel.
Be sure to see all the great art museums. The Van Gogh, and the Rijksmuseum with the worlds greatest painting, Rembrandt’s The Night Watch! and you can tour Rembrandt’s canal house too. Its a museum for some of his etchings. and of course, have some traditional dutch food and beer! The cafes are great. It’s All Gouda!
Hey, while you are at it. See if they still have the old Wall Drug, South Dakota sign out near the main train station. Its a travelers cult thing, finding the sign farthest from Wall Drug. Their chamber of commerce puts them all over the world with the mileage. I took a pic. it looks like this.
Oh yeah, and I have been to Wall Drug too!
Have a nice trip!
thanks peeps. i cannot wait. was last there in 94. never been to belgium. just worrying about the the iceland volcano having some major effect on flights coming back.
Have a wonderful trip. I’ll be going to Budapest in August. I guess you have arranged to have somebody who will take good care of your tank. This is always a problem for me and I worry a lot about it.
Have fun Paul! We’ll see you in a couple of weeks.
Paul won’t have to worry about his tank at all. It is in good hands. Just need to see if I can get the growth rates fast enough during the first week that I can frag things and have them recover in the second week without things being noticeable… jk
Hey Jon
If your maintaining the tanks. LMK when I can come down and steal all his clams YahoO. JK Paul
Hope ya have a blast on the trip. Take lots of pics.
"Dear Paul, I’m so sorry, but you seem to have lost a couple of clams. I warned you I just don’t have a lot of experience with them. I did bring Billrob over to give a second look one time to make sure they were doing alright. Not sure exactly what he did, but he did ask me to bring some special tools including rubber bands and bags. I never knew how fast even the shells disapeared when they die. Chris must have preserved his with something specail. It was like they were there one minute and gone the next. "
LOL
Thanks Jon :-)lol
I have some experience with clams so just give me a call if you have any trouble… ;D
