I would calculate one for every 24" to 30" of tank surface area.
I am running three of these over a 72" x 24" x 25" tank about 5" off the surface.

48 x 3W Bridgelux LED fixture with 24 x 455nm Royal Blue and 24 x 12,000K White LED’s.
Optics consist of a blend of 32 x 90 degree and 16 x 60 degree optics.
Unit is ~ 12" x 10 1/4" x 2 1/4" weight is about 10lbs.
Unit comes with two power cords, one each for white and blue, and suspension hardware
Dimmers do not completely turn off the LED’s, you should be using a timer anyway.
Yea, the one on their web site is what they call a “mould 1”. The units I have are a newer version, known as a mould 2. They’re more square in shape and give better coverage in a tank that is 18" to 24" deep(front to back), and have two dimmers.
The one you’re referencing doesn’t have any dimming capability.
