Light Rack

I have seen a lot of light rack systems but this one is a cheap and sound system. It can hold up to 55lbs which should take care of most light racks. And at only $20 is a great deal.

Now like most things that are a good deal it was not designed for an aquarium but can be easily adapted to work on almost any light fixture.

Hey everyone,

Anyone Own Reef Invertebrates Volume 1 - Calfo & Fenner?

I have a few questions before I purchase it…

Thanks guys!

~Jared

I have it at home, but I’m not at home. If you don’t want to post you question for some reason you can shoot me a PM. It’s a pretty good book, but honestly one I have not read cover to cover.

O I dont care lol. Do you know if they have any info (substantial info not like one blurp) on the s. gigantea anemone, along with other less common anemones?

Not sure will let you know when I get a chance to look at it. I’ll be going home late tonight. I should look at that section myself see if I can learn more about the little hitch hiking anemone that is now 6 pretty large anemones which are starting to take over one of my xenia prop tanks.

Anemones are not in the Index or Table of Contents and I flipped through several times. If you are buying it specificly to read up on anemones I would suggest looking for another book.

Have you considered a QT tank?

j/k lOl

xenia prop tank? u need a tank to do that :D?

Joe I don’t know of any pest anemones that grow large. I said it hitchhiked not that it was a pest. I also recently posted images of two corals that hitchhiked into my system. I only QT against things I don’t want.

addicted2reefin if you like to grow xenia in a mixed reef knock yourself out. The only thing I mix with xenia are a few softies, anemones, and Sarcophytons. The xenia is even growing right up the main stalk of one of my large Sarcophytons. I don’t keep my prized Acropora next to a large quantity of fast growing softies like xenia.

i wasnt poking fun at u, i was just playing off of the ease of growth of xenia.

i was saying, “xenia propogation, u need a tank do to that? i can grow it in my pool outback”
