Lighting QT tank

Well I’m done messing around. Time to setup a QT tank for any new corals that are coming in the tank.

What are my options for lighting? I assume I need something decent to keep the corals happy. Planning on using a 10g. What’s decent enough to penetrate and give my corals enough lighting? Will be hb everything up to SPS in there.

A 10g is really simple to light as it’s shallow enough you don’t need a 6-bar T5 or MH.

I run a Nove Extreme (2bulb) on my 20l and it provides plenty of light for everything. You could probably even use a couple shop lights with reflectors and PC bulbs in a shallow tank and be ok.
