it stops at 6:19… is it uploaded in intervals?

I think that it stopped because I didn’t verify my email address with Justin.tv, so I will have it running all day tomorrow to see how it works.

Nice John

thanks bill

have it up and running, sorry about the glare, can’t do nothing about the sun. The USB cable from the cam doesn’t reach to the other side of tank.

John, how come so blurry?

Not sure, probally is my DSL and/or webcam that I am using.

I’m very jealous of the number of colorful healthy fish you have in your tank and the array of large coral colonies.

What type of web cam do you have? I purchased a ton of web cams to keep an eye on my tanks in my pre controller days. Had them set up in front of pH probes and temperature sensors and so on. Probably have a cam that has higher resolution you could have for free. Let me know what you have first though as all of mine are a little dated and I’m sure there is much better out now.

Thanks Jon.
I am using a logictech Quickcam. I just d/l and running Flash media live encoder and hope the video is clearer now.

Looks like Logitech has released another 6 “Quickcams” since I last checked. There are now 52 Logitech Quickcam models out there. Yours could be literally 100X worse or 10X better then what I have, lol.

LOL, my cam is a Quickcam Messenger V-UAS14. Don’t really know how old it is.
Does the video look any better now?

Hard to say, maybe a little better. Way back in the day I tried out a ton of different aps(this was before the general public ever knew what an “ap” was. Kinda doubt they know what it means now) Anyways the one I used to use was WebcamXP. No idea if it is still a good one or not.

Cam looks like it isn’t horrible, but I can not find any stats on it anywhere. What resolution does it have?

Don’t know. I just plugged it in after d/l the software for it. not good at this tech stuff. BoNg

I think this is the correct link for LIVE video, I hope. >LOCO<

It’s clearer than before, but there a glare right in the middle of the picture.

yeah I know. My wire from the camera doesn’t reach across the room, so the window glare is right in the middle of the tank.
