Not sure if Jason (beadlocked450r) has a frag or the $500 efflo, but he does have an efflo in his tank that he didn’t know he had. A nice one too, beige/white with purple rim I believe.
Yes I do! I will try to get a pic of it tonight
Sweet - would love to see some pics!
That is sweet!!! ::
Sorry the pics don’t do it any justice. It is about 5"left to right and 3"front to back.when I got it,it was pea green with brownish coralites. That was almost a year ago now.

Thanks john
Awesome piece!!
I’m going to be a total beggar - would you sell me a frag?
Yea, you have to see that coral in person to appreciate it. I was ::drool:: ing when I saw it. It’s one of my favorite corals too. After the GARF Bonzai of course.
Isn’t the $500 efflo all purple Todd?

Todd if it was poss for me to frag this without it looking like I cut it I would. But the way it’s growing it’s not really able to be cut at the moment. Trust me there is a waiting list for a piece. As soon as I get some pieces I will let you know
well you could just clip a little 1/4 inch tip off one of the sprouts, and start another colony just for fraggin. it will take a while, but you get to keep the natural shaped mother colony growing.

Yeah, lots of purples and greens, just depends on the system I guess. I’ve seen all purple, green in the center with purple coralites and even blue on the outside ridge. Efflo’s in general are one of my favorite corals.

No worries there, I’m in no rush! I can totally appreciate the fact that you know where that line is when it comes to fragging corals. Lots of folks will frag something just to do it.
I will get it fragged soon enough.it is growing pretty quick so I will see what I can do
