what does it weigh? want to put it on ground level but moms afraid it would be too heavy.
Darn it I just typed this big elaborate message and it didn’t post! I live in a 2nd floor apartment and never had a problem!
The rule of thumb I heard is 10 lbs per gallon of water because of the rock.

Does this sound rite to anyone else? I know water weighs 8lbs per gallon I was told to add 2lbs cause of the rock to get a good estimate of weight.
good way to estimate. for a 90, maybe need to figure 1000 lbs total, water tank stand lights coral sand sump pumps, etc
Which is actually not as much as you would think. Figure 5 full grown men standing in one corner of the room. Not really much to worry about. Our 90 sits on the ground floor above a basment… it hasnt fallen through yet.
my 90 is on my floor with the basement underneath of it and its doing fine but the beams are running like this = where as the tank is like this | if u know what i mean lol it also is backed up to a support wall
about 5 years ago, i had my 90, and a 72 bow set up in a trailer… never had a problem. both were diagonal in a separate corners… so across 3 beams or so. (just guessing) all in all, between 4 different houses, never had an issue with 90 gal or smaller.

awesome way to look at it. i would hope the floor can hold 5 guys b/sing!! lolol
Id get 5 big guys over 200lbs if your that worried but I would think as long as your floor isn’t spongey feeling you will be fine. I have a total of 4 tanks in my apartment now and have no problem ( except if I spill water like when my ro unit overflows lol) that has happened so many times its pathetic. If no one buys the other rock that’s dry fiji rock that has coriline still on it I will prob trade it in for food at one of the local pet stores.
I like Special Kitty Salmon Fillets, with a twist of lime over them.
Good Pate for lunch on a cracker.
and a glass of Iced tea.
Wee!!
theres a 150 gal. for sale for $500 on the RC forum
