were looking for a good water filter. it needs to filter drinking water and will have to operate via kitchen sink. i also have to be able to use it for my saltwater. i dont know what size but i think 50 gpd would be a start but i really dont know.
Brett sent you a P.M.
If you didn't get it I have a extra R.O. unit for ya. Will need new filters but it works.
LMK
Thanks Bill
There are a lot of options and many quality units. Using the unit under the sink requires a storage tank and will add some additional cost but is definitely doable. Also the storage tank stops CD0 syndrome* IF you end up getting a Reef only system invest in a auto stop and float switch
CD0 syndrome - pronounced Cdangel0 Syndrome The constant urge to get the floor wet either by design or accident. If you search the forum look for titles like flood, bad week, went on vacation or Cdangel0. These are always fun to read
Yes, there are many home RO sytems to chose from. this one from one of our sponsors seems promising.
I dont see the actual rejection specs, but I’m sure they can provide them to you if you Email them. this unit is similar to others in that it is under sink, provides a 2 or 3 gallon reservoir and sink fountain. But i think it’s one unique feature is the ERD, Energy Recovery Device, which recycles more of the reject water back across the membrane to produce 80% recovery of RO water and only 20 % rejectio waste water.
I beleive the ERD was developed by :
It recycles the waste water back against the pressure of the reject orifice. ergo 80% recovery.
this is a good thing. its passive, and works with the back pressure of the reservoir tank.
that looks good. i was also lookingat these

I am absolute living proof that that’s just outright false. I have a storage tank. I also have LOTS of towels to clean up the messes I make.
Brett, I have the topmost link in your last post. I’ve been very satisfied with it. there are equivalent units out there, no doubt, but from the sounds of it you want that or something very much like it.
Al’s a funny guy lOl
need I say more, Al
Well it appears AL continues to be his generally un-witty self.
