Hmmm?? Anyone picking up their order from the ReefCleaners group buy will get a free complimentary view of my grungy frag tanks. If you can handle it! [/quote]
Why do you think I offered to pick up for Dover people… I want to check out your frag tank!

Ken I saw your frag tank about a year and a half ago, it was sweet!!! Loaded with frags! And you made the tank yourself made it even more amazing! Did you ever use my old 75g? Get that 120g upgrade yet?
I would be interested in doing one for my reef/FO tank, looks like maybe Jan/Feb of next year?
DPS no the 75RR i bought from you is still out on the back porch. I seem to collect stuff. much like you. i may use it soon for rock curing. or something. or frags.

Ken. when are you going to sell some of those frags? What do you have growing in your frag tank?
Ive been cleaning a bunch of over abundant palys and zoos and kenyas out of the tank to make room for more acro frags to grow. been selling them at the store for a while. Ive been resurecting tiny bits of acros i used to have from rock that had been covered with algae and chaeto in the reef tank. its taking time but many have grown and Ive started mother colonies of them. found little smudges of purple monti dig, green and orange that are making a comback from dark spaces. I though i had lost them. but alls it takes is a little speckm a polyp or two to grow a new one. and im growing some to plant the 120RR upgrade when i get around to it. its taken a year for some of them to go from just a colorless smudge on a rock to bright tall branching corals i can frag. Ive still lost a lot of my diversity collection over the past 5 years of problems and crashes. but not all.
I drop off frags of monti caps and digi, and some xenia and some acros at the store. Ive been trading them for lamps and salt and stuff to subsidize the tanks. the 10 year old reef tank(75) still looks bad, Im thining it out to replace with a new 120RR. . but the frag tank is picking up. just changed the VHO lamps. wow. big difference.
Sure, I can. club members are actually a small part of the stores clientelle. I just keep pursueing my goal of sustainable store live stock thru local propagation . when ever possible. Ya know, save a reef, grow yer own. something like back in the 60’?. Ive just been tweakin up the output a little lately. you know, actually producing some frags and fish on a regular basis. I like to support local stores, because they can get all the stuff i wunt at a reasonable price. and do good for the neighborhood in these economic disaster times. little eco havens. you know what I mean/?
I think of them as sort of a local stock exchange!
Nano’s are cool! They are one of the fastest growing segments of reef tanks. Easy and less expensive to set up, and a good starter tank, or just nice for the person with a busy schedule or little extra room. Water changes take like a couple gallons, and glass cleaning and maintenance is just a little per week. and they look good too with proper lighting to make tiny corals pop!
