There is no question at all DPA has more stony corals then any LFS in the state and a real nice new set up to display their corals and clams. Stopped in today for the first time in a while and I was impressed.
They carry black egg create(no other LFS in the state does), they carry vortex pumps(no other LFS in the state does), they carry a full selection of T5 fixtures for every size tank(no other LFS in the state does), they carry Tropic Marine Pro Salt(no other LFS in the state does), and they carry refractometers.
I was so sad I didn’t have any more cash to drop on new corals.(just in to pick up salt) They had some very nice small elegance corals, and they had chalice corals and Blastos for $20! Very nice!

Have to say they are doing a pretty good job of keeping up with times.
We heard DPA had Acan’s up there so we had to stop in, ended up taking home a acan frag, and one of those nice blasto frags too. then two hours later we went back to get the sailfin we kept googling at. So far it and the yellow tang are being civil.
You’re right! the blasto’s look incredible under the actinics, the wife got final say this time, if it was up to me we would’ve grabbed two acan’s, but after we got the blasto home that’s what i can’t stop staring at. And the sailfin is nice, thanks… it was picking off the rocks within 20 sec after it was in the dt, looking and acting very healthy… and i’m a lot less stressed now that i see its interacting very calmly with the yellow tang. DPA has some great looking stuff there right now, wish i had some more coin to drop too.
I’m pretty bad myself, just knew that one didn’t seem right when I read it. I know Paul Moliken(former English major, now works for a publishing company) roles his eyes at all of us all the time. Yes, they all looked nice. I bought one of the acan frags on a plug while there last night. Im starting a small collecton. Hey, i guess someone bought that nice Achilles tang that was there last week. its gone now.
