So whilst my tank is being brought to life quite literally, (the 75gal that ihunteinde is talking about) I was wondering at what height should acans be placed? I have always tried them in my 29 to no avail. It was probably because my conditions weren’t doing so well, a heater that went on the fritz the same time my thermometer went, talk about terrible luck. So now that I have a much better filter and good equipment, (and after months of dreadful wait) I will try acans again, possibly trying to fuse them together. I have a tek 6x54w fixture. How high should the be placed? and also what other parameters are they particular sticklers about? I know you have the holy trinity with SPS, is that the same for LPS?
