i guess either a completely random draw like john did the nems or this way:
random draw for a, b, c
person A picks 1, 8, 9, 10, 15
Person B picks 2, 6, 7, 11, 14
Person C picks 3, 4, 5, 12, 13, 16
That way a bad random set doesn’t seem so bad and everything seems to even out.
