How big is that clam?
pretty big it is a little smaller than my biggest clam. it has no color to it hasn’t opened fully but from what i can see no color…
i must have similiar water quality than tim the polyps have already opened on it.

Dang I forgot about the meeting tonight. I have been working on my canopy and trying to find the fans to push good air through it and finding a replacement fan for my mh fixture…

I would complain about him winning the clam too but his daughter did pull my ticket for the frag raffle and I got a nice piece of chalice
update at about 3 today the clam was pretty open but not like the others now at 7pm it is closed up with just a small bit of mantle showing it does look pretty good open but i am not sure why it won’t stay open?
Maybe adjusting to you’re lighting and different water qualities?

everytime i look they are open when the daylights go out they close some at night they barely have mantle showing. all the others are wide open from 12pm to 8pm unless a fish swims over them or a tang picks at the shell

Lol yeah it’s good it opens ok now just has a piece of something between it’s shells blocking the mantle from coming out it is on the end. The mantle is drab purple with a cool rim I’ll post pics sometime
