Has anyone done this mod to their skimmer?
If so, what do you think?
I did this on a small sea clone and it made it pull crap out alot better. Does work
do you remember what kind of mesh u used?
was it more like the foam mesh that you would pre filter a pump with?
or was it the hard mesh that you would use as a gutter guard?
It was a hard mesh, it’s about 1/2 inch sheets but the piece I used was given to me. I ad to cut grooves in my impeller and wrapped it around.
With a maxi-jet you can also take a tiny drill and drill small holes in the impellers to create more bubbles.
